How can I help? When the problems of the world feel overwhelming and there are limited resources for you to share, how do you help others? We share the good. The world can take everything away from you, but it can never take your soul. So even while stuck in quarantine you have the chance to share the good, your love, your positive spirit with others through social media and just being an anchor for love and light when the world so desperately needs it. I continue to lift myself up and have reached a state of finding the good in every day. I was feeling guilty about sharing my happiness while so many are struggling, but then I remembered that sharing my light is the one thing I can do right now to help.
It’s ok to feel good. It’s ok to find the good in small things each day. Listening to the birds outside each morning has been an unexpected joy lately. There is less background noise of cars, so the songs of the birds have been more noticeable each morning. It’s a simple joy that I have always missed until now. I’ve been out walking with my dog most days and just enjoying the sun, the wind, seeing the world spring back to life after winter, and appreciating every minute of it since we’ve been told to limit our time outside of our houses. I see more people out taking a walk with their families. People are smiling. There is still good and happiness in the world. It’s ok to find it and enjoy it. These happy moments lift all of us up.
So many people have been mentioning that their dreams are extra vivid and often scary or extreme right now. It’s a reflection of the overall sense of anxiety in the world. All of us are connected, and when something like this happens on a global scale it’s going to resonate within all of us. So that’s why it’s even more important to help the world by keeping your vibration as high as you can right now. Share your good. Share the happy moments, share the benefits, and don’t be afraid to hide your light right now. It’s easy to wallow around in the negativity. It’s easier to join the masses in spreading fear and negativity because there is so much of it right now. We all know how bad it is. It’s easy to get sucked into the negativity spiral, but it’s time to start being brave and doing what we can to turn it around. None of us control when this ends, so we gotta make the best of it.
Focus on all the things you have to be grateful for right now. I’ve connected to people more now. I’ve had time to remember how much I love live music sets. I’ve cherished the extra time with my family and fur babies. I’ve appreciated the work around the farm because it takes my mind off what is happening in the world. I don’t take things for granted now. I’ve learned to use less toilet paper! I’ve discovered I can get sick of watching Netflix. This is such a time of discovery if you stop to look for the good around you. Maybe you are the good in someone’s life right now. Who can you call today? What good can you share with others today? Maybe instead of complaining about something today, you can share a benefit of this time on social media. Share your good. Help the world heal by being a love warrior. This current situation is a fight and a challenge and we shall overcome it. We’ll all be changed from this, so help yourself and others by doing what you can to make sure we come out of this ready to embrace the new world instead of fearing it.
It’s ok to share the good, even in bad times. Together we rise up. Lifting yourself up will benefit us all. Share the good so others will not be afraid to share theirs as well. Take the road less traveled and share your light in a time of darkness. Love to you all!
